About koka

One person, one machine.

I am koka. I shoot, edit and build websites — the same person from the first conversation to delivery.

A quieter place to keep the work I am in the middle of.

Why

Why it is just one person.

Working alone means nothing gets handed off. The person who hears the brief, the person who shoots, the person who cuts and the person who writes are all the same one — so the idea does not drift in transit.

The trade-off is honest: capacity is limited. I take on few projects at a time and the calendar fills up, so we confirm dates before anything starts.

None of this is here to impress anyone. It is here so you know what you get, and what the process of getting it looks like.

Principles

A few things that rarely change.

These survived past mistakes, and I do not plan to move them any time soon.

  • Agree first, then start

Quote, timeline and delivery standard are settled before work begins. If the scope changes mid-way, a change order comes first.

  • Visible process

There is something to look at at every milestone, so you never discover a wrong direction at the end.

  • The work is yours

Finished pieces, raw material and project files are delivered together. You hold the usage rights; I keep credit and the right to show the work.

Practical habits

A few everyday habits.

Nothing remarkable — just ways to avoid doing the same work twice.

  • Write it down the same day

What was shot and why, while it is still easy to recall.

  • Back up the same day

One backup per card, and both copies confirmed before leaving.

  • Rough cut first, polish later

If the structure is wrong, colour and sound are wasted effort.

  • Watch it three times before delivery

Once for content, once for pace, once with the sound off for the picture.

If you have something in mind, let us talk.

Room for what comes next.
